Prerequisites

Recommended Optional Add-ons
All of the above is featured in screenshots shown on this page.
Installation
Install ‘Aerosoft Mega Airport Dublin’ to your Prepar3D v4 root directory.
Once installed, in Prepar3D v4\Aerosoft\Mega Airport Dublin\Scenery, delete or disable the following files:
EIDWE2_Ground.BGL
EIDWE3_Ground.BGL
EIDWL_Ground.BGL
EIDWR_Ground.BGL
EIDWE2_Ground.HIGH
EIDWE3_Ground.HIGH
EIDWL_Ground.HIGH
EIDWR_Ground.HIGH
AF2_EIDW_P3D.BGL
From the archive, extract EIDW_Ground.bgl and EIDW_DL.bgl into ‘Prepar3D v4\Aerosoft\Mega Airport Dublin\Scenery’.
In the archive you will find two AFCADs. One that adds the Center gates (used for long haul aircraft) at Terminal 2 (AF2_EIDW_P3D - C.bgl) and one that adds the Left and Right gates (used for short haul aircraft) at Terminal 2 (AF2_EIDW_P3D - LR.bgl). Choose which AFCAD you would like to use, then set the other to a ‘.off’ file or move it out of the folder, and vice versa for when you want to switch AFCADs.
From the archive, extract and replace TXYDetail01.dds, ZementNew02.dds and BasedEXTRA.dds into ‘Prepar3D v4\Aerosoft\Mega Airport Dublin\Texture’.
To install dynamic lighting, drop vtk_Dynamic_O.fx into ‘Prepar3D v4\Effects\’.
If you’ve got GSX Level 2 installed and wish to use SODE jetways. Drop both ini files into ‘C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Roaming\Virtuali\GSX’. Then, in ‘Prepar3D v4\Aerosoft\Mega Airport Dublin\Scenery’, delete or disable EIDW_Jetways.bgl. They will automatically switch depending on which AFCAD you chose in step 4.
Load up Prepar3D v4 and add ‘Prepar3D v4\Aerosoft\Mega Airport Dublin\’ to your scenery library and you should be good to go.
Known Bugs:
Flickering taxiway textures when in proximity.
Notes
v1.0 - Initial Release
v1.01 - Fixed Dynamic Lighting which caused gate issue.
v1.02 - Added Left and Right Gate option at T2.
While using the Dublin patch, users need to disable any sort of mesh files that affect the Dublin area. These could be FreeMeshX, FS Global Ultimate, etc. This should solve issues for users who are experience no ground textures.
To further clarify, FsDreamTeam Charlotte is required for Terminal 1 jetways. You do NOT need to own Charlotte, installing the trial will fix issues with GSX crashing. Also, there is a GSX bug with Charlotte and SODE that causes the jetways to not move, there is a fix for this issue here.
Thanks to Mr I. Dorfman for his assistance in making this patch work.
