Aerosoft cannot provide any support if a user is to use this patch in-conjunction with the product ‘Aerosoft Split X’. Any support related queries can be directed to iniBuilds via our support section.

The intent of the patch provided is to make Aerosoft’s ‘Aerosoft Split X’ add-on scenery compatible with Lockheed Martin Prepar3D v4.x or v5.0, any use outside of the scope of the stated intent means we will not be able to provide support.

Prerequisites


Installation

  1. Install ‘Aerosoft Split X’ to your Prepar3D v4/5 root directory, this patch won’t work if you install it into a non-default location.

  2. Once installed, in Prepar3D v4(or ‘v5)\Aerosoft\Split X\Scenery, delete the following files:

    • LDSP_Ground.BGL

    • AFD_LDSP.BGL

  3. Also, in Prepar3D v4(or ‘v5)\Aerosoft\Split X\simobjects, delete or move out the following folder

    • LDSP

  4. From the Scenery folder in the archive, extract the following files into Prepar3D v4(or ‘v5)\Aerosoft\Split X\Scenery:

    • AFD_LDSP.bgl

    • iniB_LDSP_Grass.BGL

    • iniB_LDSP_Ground.BGL

    • iniB_LDSP_Dyn_Lighting.BGL

  5. From the Effects folder in the archive, extract the following files into Prepar3D v4(or ‘v5)\Effects:

    • vkt Orange F.fx

    • vtk_Dynamic_BTC_L.fx

    • vtk_Dynamic_J_L.fx

    • vtk_Dynamic_Parking_O.fx

  6. Run ‘iniBuilds SplitX Scenery Config Tool.exe ‘(P3D v4)’ or ‘(P3D v5)’, and follow the instructions.

  7. Load up Prepar3D v4/v5 and add ‘Prepar3D v4\Aerosoft\Split X\’ to your scenery library and you should be good to go.
